The meeting is intended for institutional Administrators of the TurnitinUK plagiarism detection software, and provides a unique opportunity for sharing good practice and experiences in use and implementation of the software. Previous meetings of the UK group have proved to be a lively and practical exchange of both pedagogical and technical approaches to plagiarism prevention and detection.
The meeting will focus on approaches to using Grademark to provide students with feedback on their work. Ideas could be based on trials/pilots of Grademark, good practice or innovative use of the feature.
We would like to invite Administrators to present a short (15 minutes) case study during the meeting on Grademark. If you are interested in presenting your experiences please indicate this via the online registration form, online registration form along with a brief outline.
Updates on this summer’s changes to the system and feedback on issues raised previously by the group will be provided at the meeting, including planned integration and database development. We would also like to announce our new feedback tool “User Voice” http://nlearning.uservoice.com.
Further details on the agenda will follow nearer the time, but if you would like any specific issues to be discussed at the meeting please indicate this on the online registration form.
Representatives of plagiarismadvice.org and nLearning, European resellers of Turnitin will be on hand to offer their guidance and expertise. Many thanks to Mark Dransfield for hosting the meeting at his institution. To register your interest in attending please complete the online registration form.
