CONFERENCE THEMES

The 2012 conference event places the student at the heart of the learning process, and will showcase innovative approaches to addressing plagiarism and authenticity from the global academic community. Practitioners and policy makers are invited to share their experiences and expertise at this key academic conference.

Papers, posters, workshop and video submissions are invited on the following themes:

• Strategies for engaging students in discussions on plagiarism and authenticity.
• Enhancing the student experience through e-submission and e-marking.
• Cultural perspectives on plagiarism, reuse and originality.
• Addressing falsification, fabrication and plagiarism in published scholarly work.
• Dealing with authenticity in non text based disciplines and multimedia.
• Open theme. Suggested topics include cryptomnesia, longitudinal perspectives, developments in detection technology, using new technologies to foster authentic learning and assessment.
