CONFERENCE DINNER
"A Night at the Museum": Tuesday 17 July 2012
We are delighted to announce 'The Discovery Museum' as the venue for the 2012 conference dinner. The Discovery museum is located in the centre of Newcastle and started life in 1899 as the North East of England Co-operative wholesale society headquarters. The museum was founded in 1934 and was the first UK science museum outside of London. It is home to many exhibitions and displays of some of the North East's most famous inventors including Charles Parsons and William Armstrong.

Discover all about historic life in Newcastle and Tyneside, from the area's renowned maritime history and world-changing science and technology right through to fashion through the eras and military history. Conference delegates will have exclusive access to all of the exhibitions whilst enjoying a pre-dinner drink.
